Meeting with Deputy Lenormand

Last week, Matthieu Baudeau, President of the UPP, and Stéphanide Roquefeuil, Director of Public and Legal Affairs, met with Stéphane Lenormand, MP for Saint-Pierre et Miquelon and President of the LIOT group, to discuss the issues of originality and AI.

On behalf of the Union des Photographes Professionnels, and in support of artist-authors of all registers, we have submitted a text reforming the law of evidence with regard to counterfeiting, to put the onus on the counterfeiter to prove that the content he uses is not protected by copyright.

We hope that this text will soon be put back on the parliamentary agenda.
