Paperless business formalities

Since January 1, 2023, all formalities relating to your company must be carried out via the Guichet unique (one-stop shop), set up on the INPI website and accessible at this address: https: //www.inpi.fr/acces-au-guichet-unique

As the early days of the guichet-unique were complicated, back-up procedures were put in place (in particular, the use of paper forms and the guichet-entreprises website).

A press release published on the Infogreffe website announces that, following a decision by the strategic college on October 13, it will no longer be possible to file or send paper forms to the clerk's office from October 16, 2023, with the exception of the following two cases:

- Formalities for the modification and cessation of foreign companies;

- Formalities for the creation of associations registered with the RCS.

Paper files sent to the RCS before this date will be processed.

The procedures for filing formalities for your company are listed below:

You will find this information in the FAQ of the guichet unique: https: //formalites.entreprises.gouv.fr/doc/tableau-options-disponibles-16102023.pdf

However, annual financial statements may continue to be filed on paper, as current regulations do not require them to be filed electronically (art. R. 123-77 of the French Commercial Code).

Should you require any clarification following this decision, please contact the interministerial mission in charge of the system: https: //lannuaire.service-public.fr/government/8e8788ac-6f0b-486e-b306-d877f1a704bb
