High T4 URSSAF. Why and what should I do?
Last week you received your final payment schedule, and the amount requested for T4 seems very high. Before concluding that URSSAF has made a mistake, check the amounts requested.
1. How are your quarterly contributions calculated?
If you are on salary, your contributions are deducted by your distributors and paid to URSSAF.
You have checked (and corrected if necessary) your pre-filled tax return in May 2022.
You have received your final 2021 schedule for your information.
If you are in BNC, you declare your income and pay your social security contributions to URSSAF, according to the following schedule:
January 2022 |
|
March 2022 |
|
April 2022 |
|
May 2022 |
|
June 2022 |
|
July 2022 |
|
September 2022 |
|
October 2022 |
|
December 2022 |
|
2. T4 2022
So, you've just received your final 2021 schedule with the final adjustment of your contributions for 2021, if what you had modulated doesn't fully correspond to what you've received as income.
Q4 2022 = balance due for 2021 contributions (total amount 2021 - instalments already paid)
+ 4th quarter 2022 instalment according to the income you have modulated
- Covid 3 assistance
To reduce T4, you cannot act on the balance due for 2021.
But you can reduce your 2022 instalment on your personal space on the website: https: //www.artistes-auteurs.urssaf.fr/aa/tableau-bord/cotisations-et-paiements/paiement-des-cotisations
Please note that this option is only available until September 30.
