UPP President Matthieu Baudeau was recently invited by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to speak on the crucial issues surrounding generative artificial intelligence. In particular, he addressed the use of metadata, and the risks posed to photographers' rights by these emerging technologies. This participation marks an important recognition of the UPP's role in defending photographic authors on an international scale.
